MISSION STATEMENT
TO PROMOTE QUALITY REAL ESTATE APPRAISAL IN ARIZONA THAT PROTECTS THE HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE OF THE PUBLIC
The Board accomplishes its mission by ensuring that all Arizona appraisers meet the education, experience and examination criteria established by the Appraiser Qualifications Board of The Appraisal Foundation.
The Board registers property tax agents.
The Board acts as a disciplinary body to ensure conformity with the statutes, rules and regulations governing the Board.

The Arizona AMC bill, SB 1351, becomes effective July 29th, 2010.

New DRAFTS of SB 1351 Rules will be placed below after revisions from
previous Committee meetings. The changes will only encompass changes
agreed to by the Committee.
Current Versions of Draft Rules:
HB 2003, passed during the legislature’s Seventh Special Session, requires mandatory furloughs for state employees. The following link will provide further information about the mandatory furloughs and dates the Appraisal Board office will be closed due to the furloughs.
